Hosting a world citizen at your home
- You need or would like some help with childcare and your household.
- You're able to open up yourself and your home for a guest from another culture.
- Your new family member will watch over your children and provide some basic household help and at the same time your children get exposed to a different way of life and culture.
- You can have a truly enriching experience when you, your family and the aupair mutually discover differences and commonalities offering both sides unlimited opportunities to learn and the chance to create a long-term friendship.
- OPEN MINDS is what you the host and the young guest need to have to enjoy this mutually beneficial intercultural experience.
Every year there are hundreds of new Waldorf graduates, seeking ways to expand their horizons, combining international travel with foreign language learning, who would like to live abroad for some time to improve their language and intercultural skills, would probably feel more comfortable in a foreign culture if they were living with a Waldorf family. Parents would also entrust their children more willingly to a young person from a different culture if they have at least some kind of basic pedagogy in common, the perfect link.
